Here's how you can create and share personalised invoices for your Wise business account to get paid.
Once you create an invoice, you can share it as a link, or download it as a PDF. Both options have details on how the recipient can pay the invoice.
Creating and Managing invoices
The invoicing feature is available for all Wise business customers. You need to have opened account details in at least one currency before you can access this feature.
How to create an invoice
From the website:
Select Payments from the home screen.
Select Invoices > Create an invoice
Enter the details for the invoice you want to create:
the currency you're billing in
who you're billing and for what
select the issue and due dates.
Preview the invoice by downloading a draft PDF (downloading a draft doesn't create the invoice).
Once you approve, then you can share the invoice link or invoice PDF with others.
If your invoice recipient will pay by bank transfer, ask them to include the reference number while setting up the payment. This is to ensure that their payment gets linked to your invoice.
Note: it’s your responsibility to invoice your customer in line with local laws and regulations. If in doubt, please check with your accountant or financial advisor.
How to manage your invoices
You can manage invoices you've created from the Payments tab.
From Payments, select Invoices and you’ll see a list of invoices that you've created.
You can filter invoices based on if they are paid or unpaid or sort based on expiry date or most recently requested.
Select any invoice to view and manage it. You can
view the status of your invoices — whether they're due, paid, or expired.
cancel invoices
access the PDF or sharable payment links.
