Sending money to PayID recipients in Australia

If your registered Wise account address is in Australia, you can send money to any phone number or email registered on PayID.

You can use this to send any currency to AUD with Wise, either from your Wise balance or from another bank.

Due to local regulations, this feature is only available to residents of Australia.

Setting up the transfer

On the web or app:

  1. Set up your transfer to AUD

  2. Choose Add a recipient

  3. Select the AUD currency

  4. Select Search PayID and Wise

  5. Input the phone number or email associated with the PayID account of your recipient, and select Search

  6. Select your recipient from the On PayID list

  7. Review your transfer and send it

You can also pay for your transfer using PayID from your bank
