How to cancel your Revolut card by closing your account

If the reason you want to cancel your Revolut card is that you no longer want to use your account or any of Revolut’s services, you’ll need to leave as a customer.

The way to do this is to close your Revolut account. Before you can do this, you’ll need to check that you’ve done the following:¹

Make sure all of your account and savings balances are at zero
Cancel all pending transactions or subscriptions
Close all active insurance policies with Revolut, along with <18 accounts
Downgrade your plan to Standard, if you’re not already on this plan
Make sure you have the latest version of the Revolut app.

Now, here’s how to close your account, in just a few simple steps:¹

Open the Revolut app and sign in
Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
Select 'Account'
Tap 'Close account'
Follow the steps on-screen and confirm your account closure.

Once you’ve done this, both your account and card will be closed.

How to cancel a Revolut card order

Placed an order for a new Revolut card but changed your mind? This section of our guide is for you.

The most important thing to know about cancelling a Revolut card order is that you can only do it within 1 hour of placing the order. This means you’ll need to act fast.

Follow these steps to cancel your card:²

Open the Revolut app and sign in
Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
Tap the cards icon - you’ll find this in the top-right corner
Choose the card you wish to cancel
Tap 'Edit or cancel'
Select 'Cancel order' and 'Yes, cancel' to confirm.

If you’ve paid any delivery or other fees for the new card, these will be refunded to you within 1 working day.²
